Our client is seeking an experienced Training & Communication Lead, focused in the area of IT Service Management. This Training & Communication Lead will work closely with the SMO as well as other project team members to create a comprehensive Training and Communication Approach and Plan, and then manage and execute against it. The Training Approach and Plan will identify the nature / type / audience / timing / delivery vehicles of tool and process training to all personnel that are impacted by the project. The Communication Plan will identify the nature / type / frequency / purpose of project communications to all personnel that are impacted by the project.

The Training & Communication Lead is expected to author, edit, and otherwise own the creation of some of the training materials, and collaborate with the team members and departments on the creation and editing of those training materials. Along with training material, this Training & Communication Lead is also expected to author, edit, and otherwise own the creation of several of the communications materials. These could be emails, slide presentations, updates to project-specific and web-pages, etc.

This Training & Communication Lead position entails several elements of project management, including defining and adhering to a schedule with deliverables and the ability to work independently.
Key Qualifications * Previous experience creating and managing a comprehensive Training & Communication Plan for projects that have both technical and process components * Can create training & communication materials from scratch, as well as edit those from others * Understanding of what training & communication delivery vehicles and formats (e.g., classroom training, self-study materials, simulations, short videos, email, newsletter, Web, knowledge base & help options, etc.) are most appropriate for a given audience * Experience working on a large, fast-paced project with interdependent tracks of work * Ability to manage own work (e.g., tasks, deadlines, etc.) as well as the work of others * Effective presentation, oral, and written business communication skills with various audiences and levels * Ability to quickly review the project's history, previously created artifacts and deliverables, and otherwise come up to speed on current status * Experience with the ServiceNow software suite is a plus * Experience with ITIL Service Management processes is a plus, especially in the area of Change Request and Problem Management. * Having worked on several onsite / offshore engagements and global system deployments is a plus
