We are seeking a Software Engineer with an Identity background. As an Identity Software Engineer, working with the Sr. Manager of IT Operations based in San Francisco, you will be responsible for crafting, building, and owning the Identity services and infrastructure that control access to internal services. This position will focus on key technologies and services including but not limited to OKTA, ServiceNow, Internal ILM platform, Directory Services, and future CASB technologies. You should have background in running Linux (+ Windows is a huge plus), strong programming aptitude, experience with a formal software release process, and the ability to learn quickly.


Primary Job Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain authentication and authorization services for internal corporate Splunk
* Management of user identities across all identity platforms
* Perform analysis of security events and logs across multiple identity platforms
* Work multi-functionally with many teams to build and handle RBAC to ensure a secure production environment
* Partner with Sr. Identity Engineer to assesses available technologies to meet needs, define technical specifications, designs, and thorough evaluations
* Be the resource for Identity Access Management, Identity Lifecycle Management, SSO/MFA, and Directory Services related tasks or projects
* Maintain key operational metrics and provide regular updates to upper management
* Active member of the Identity team on-call rotation



Job Requirements: * Minimum 4 years' experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Identity Lifecycle Management (ILM) space * Shown technical knowledge of authentication/authorization, or identity management standards/protocols such as Kerberos/NTLM, LDAP, Active Directory, Google Identity Services, SAML, OAuth, and SCIM * Experience with different types of integrations into directory services * Knowledge of common HRIS applications such as Workday, etc. * Familiar with Workday, OKTA, and ServiceNow integration *Familiar with business workflows and automate/integrate manual tasks into the IAM platform * Experience working with internal auditors and on the front burner of security standards (ISO/IEC 27001, SOC1, SOC2, HIPAA, NIST) * Experience developing web services and RESTful APIs * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Able to confidently articulate information to people clearly and simply * Works with minimal supervision, handles own time effectively. It is desirable for you to have:
  • Full-stack experience
  • Knowledge of administering Splunk
